Ultra Violet's Pickled Egg Cookbook
Easter Bunny Signs Largest Egg Contract Yet with Cool
Chick from Missouri
Unless we keep chickens, most of us don't think much about the simple egg
because we go to the supermarket and buy it whenever we want. Our biggest
decisions are how many, what size and which color? But if you're the Easter
Bunny working in Florida, you've got to have a plan and it better be legit.
Most of us living in Florida (15,982,378 according to Census 2000) would be
surprised to learn that Florida hens had a January 2002 egg production of 218
million eggs. According to the Florida Agricultural Statistics Service, Florida
ranks 6th in the nation for table egg production. That's a lot of eggs to
manage.
Even with all the eggs we use in spring celebrations, eat at breakfasts, and
make into omelets, we're going to need just a few more recipe ideas. We can't,
so to speak, put all our eggs in one basket. So when you've made enough egg
salad and deviled eggs, get cracking to make a fast and easy Southern gourmet
treat - the pickled egg.
Ultra-Violet, a cool chick with pizzazz and attitude out of Center, Missouri,
has signed a long-term contract with the Easter Bunny to offer 41 easy-to-make
varieties of pickled egg recipes that can't miss. The new contract will present
Ultra's new book, Ultra-Violet's Pickled Egg Cookbook - Plucky Prescripts from
the Show-Me State, and will allow egg lovers to make all 41 of her recipes. The
new contract will also allot a whopping 846 eggs for each Floridian to use in
these recipes. The contract, signed early this month, is the largest bunny-hen
contract signed to date and is aimed at satisfying the demands of egg lovers of
the world.
In addition, the newly announced contract has met with high approval from the
Easter Bunny (who eagerly admitted he needed an eggable assistant); from the
general public (who has openly expressed a desire to get hot & spicy, sweet &
sour, or pickled eggs with beets); and from the Floridian Hens Union (for job
security and image enhancement of the industry).Details may be found at

Round The Rue: Poetical Celebrations of
Life
Softcover, 96 pages
Rexdale Publishing Company is pleased to announce the publication of Poet Brian
Grant's new book, Round The Rue: Poetical Celebrations of Life, available
February 14, 2000.
Mr. Grant was born and reared in bustling New York City. He is of Irish-Scottish
descent and is the third of nine children. He currently lives in the beautiful
Inwood Park section of Manhattan with his dog Connan and his cat Tootsie Roll.
Here he is able to devote his time to writing.
Mr. Grant's poetry is interesting because, according to his own recollections,
he has held a minimum of 178 different jobs, been a United States Marine, and is
a student of human behavior.
Mr. Grant is comfortable exploring the lives and deaths; comedies and tragedies;
and loves and lost loves of mankind. His poetry expresses the spiritual duality
of good and evil in man, while leaving traces of the beauty and pleasure he sees
in life. Perhaps the greatest remark regarding Mr. Grants poetry is that it
cannot leave the reader untouched.
