Rexdale Publishing Company was established in 1999 and named in honor of 19th Century American Poet, Robert Rexdale of Portland, Maine and later Rock Island, Illinois. Robert Rexdale not only wrote poetry but also traveled the tank town circuit giving lectures illustrated with magic lantern slides. His published works included: Rhymes of Robert Rexdale, Drifting - Songs and Sketches, and Playing the Tanks With A Reuben Show.
