Ms. Oglivie was born in Panama and is the mother of two children as well as one grandson. She has been employed by New York Presbyterian Hospital as Administrative Support Coordinator for the Operating Rooms. In addition, she is the founder of Oglivie Productions: a Children and Teen Modeling and Talent Show. She is also the Director of Children's Choice Awards which she presents annually for the Body Sculpt of New York, Inc. Ms. Oglivie has been a professional model for the past twenty years for Lubnas Fashions.

Ms. Oglivie is an active student of Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts under direction of Master Rafael (Spider) Rodriguez. She has received a total of thirty-nine Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts trophies from local and national competitions. She enjoys leading warm up exercise class before Tae Kwon Do class begins.

Having a rich spiritual life, Ms. Oglivie attends Pilgrim Cathedral Church of Harlem in New York City under the leadership of Bishop Charles J. Reed. There she is a member of the church usher board.

She is also a member of Poetry On The Hudson, a poetry society founded by Antonio Camacho, Jr. at The New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her personal readings of her poetry have inspired many listeners.
